dramatically improve the look of your teeth

High-QUALITY Procedure

A veneer is a very thin, almost invisible layer of tooth-coloured material, usually porcelain, which is used to smooth over the affected tooth for a perfect, pearly-white finish. As well as enhancing the natural look and colour of your tooth, a veneer will also help to protect it from further damage or discolouration. Veneers can also be used to close slight gaps between teeth.

Enhanced comfort

Sedation will help you relax, alleviating any anxiety or apprehension associated with dental treatments. Sedation can help you feel more comfortable during dental procedures by reducing discomfort and stress associated with certain procedures.

Reduced Anxiety

During sedation you may also be given a local anaesthetic, which will normally be administered while you are under sedation. If you’re anxious or fearful about dental visits, sedation can make your experience more comfortable and less stressful.

Tools and procedures

Your dentist will firstly take an impression of the teeth that are going to be prepared. Dental equipment will be used to remove a minimal layer of enamel to prepare the tooth or teeth for a porcelain veneer.

Next stage dentist will take a digital scan or an impression of the teeth or tooth. This will then be sent to our technicians to construct the porcelain veneer.

On the day of fitting your dentist will remove the temporary tooth and applying the veneer by bonding them with a specific glue and curing light.

Results

Porcelain veneers can dramatically improve the look of your teeth, giving you a whiter, more even smile. They are strong and long-lasting, and with the right maintenance, they may last for a very long time. Veneers are also stain-resistant, so even after years of use, they will maintain their dazzling, white appearance.

Treatment Process

Step 1

Consultation and assessment:
The first step is to make an appointment with your dentist to talk about your smile goals and ascertain whether porcelain veneers are the best choice for you. Your dentist will examine your teeth and gums, take x-rays and impressions, and go over your treatment options at this session.

Step 2

Preparation: Your dentist will need to prepare your teeth in order to place your veneers. To make room for the veneers, a tiny layer of enamel must be removed from the front of your teeth. For this procedure, local anaesthesia may be administered to reduce discomfort. After preparing your teeth, your dentist will take an impression of them in order to make custom veneers that exactly suit your mouth.

Step 3

Temporary veneers: Your dentist may use acrylic or composite temporary veneers to cover your prepared teeth while your custom veneers are being created.

Step 4

Final placement: Your dentist will remove the temporary veneers and apply the permanent ones using a special glue once your personalised veneers are complete. The glue will be hardened by the application of a curing light, resulting in a solid bond.

FActs & Questions

Veneers are a terrific option to brighten your smile, especially if your teeth are chipped, misshapen, severely stained, or otherwise unbleachable. Veneers have the advantages of being completed in just two visits, having a realistic tooth-like appearance, and no staining.

Whether you have porcelain or composite veneers, as well as how well you take care of them, will affect how long they last. Veneers made of porcelain laminate can last for 10 to 12 years. Since composite resin veneers only last 4 to 8 years, they need to be updated sooner.

No, most patients say they experienced no pain or discomfort at all while receiving treatment. This is due to how minimally intrusive the process is. The only tooth preparation necessary for veneers is the removal of a very thin layer of enamel.
