Dr Sasan Khazenifar

I am a former career Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. I have over 30 years of clinical experience of which I spent 10 years in Hospital based Maxillofacial surgery, training and carrying out complex surgical procedures. With an emphasis on Oral Surgery, Facial Surgery and trauma, Head and Neck Surgery and ENT (Ear Nose and Throat).
I am a qualified Doctor, Dentist and Surgeon and I am registered with the GMC and GDC. I hold a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and I am on the Specialist register. I have extensive training and experience in Oral Surgery, implantology, Dental reconstruction, aesthetic medicine and dentistry. As an experienced clinician who has trained in multiple specialities, I am able to offer a holistic approach to patients. I keep up-to date within my scope of practice, and I am actively engaged in continual professional development as required by the GDC and GMC followed by yearly appraisal and revalidation as a registered Doctor.
I have a great interest in Psychology and Human behaviour and especially enjoy treating patients who have phobias which may require extensive treatment. I find
this very personally rewarding. I am very experienced and offer sedative techniques for anxious patients including Intravenous sedation.
I have also got extensive experience in Facial aesthetics and have been carryout
these procedures for over 22 years. This ranges from the use of Toxins and fillers to improve aesthetics and facial contours to minor facial surgery and removing unwanted lesions. I feel this compliments the other facial and Dental treatments I
carry out and provides a more comprehensive approach to the patient Aesthetic and functional needs.
In my spare time I enjoy skiing, clay pigeon shooting, cycling and travelling.
Dr Sonil Kalia
Specialist Orthodontist

Sonil has over 38 years’ experience working in dentistry and has been involved in the field of orthodontics for over 25 years. He has been an owner of specialist practices and Principal Specialist Orthodontist in the Uk and Germany. He has built a reputation within the dental profession as a respected specialist orthodontist.
Sonil qualified from the University of Sheffield Dental School and the Royal College of Surgeons (UK). He completed his speciality training at the University Royal Dental College of Aarhus, Denmark, where he also teaches postgraduates part-time.
He provides all types of adult orthodontics including fixed aesthetic appliances and the Invisalign treatment.
He has over 25 years in Invisalign and other aligner orthodontic techniques.
Sonil has attained postgraduate qualifications in orthodontics and has attended some of the world’s leading orthodontic practices to gain experience and knowledge. He has also delivered numerous lectures at congresses and symposiums both home and abroad.
Sonil currently accepts referrals from other dental professionals to carry out orthodontic treatments on patients of all ages. He is also fluent in German.
Ela Kheir
Clinical Lead Dental Nurse
Qualifications: BSC, NEBDN
Ela began her career in dentistry as a qualified Dental Technician, gaining valuable knowledge and technical expertise in dental laboratory work and restorative dentistry. Building on this foundation, she went on to qualify as a Dental Nurse, developing strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
Ela later completed further training in dental sedation and is now a qualified Sedation Nurse.
With a unique combination of technical and clinical experience, Ela brings a well-rounded understanding of dentistry to the dental team and is committed to delivering high standards of patient care.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and cooking
Sian Whitehouse
Practice Manager / Dental Nurse
Qualifications: NEBDN
I am a qualified Dental Nurse and Practice Manager at The Harwood Clinic
I have completed further post qualifications such as sedation (SAAD), radiography (BDA) and impression taking. This allows me to assist a wide range of treatments along side Dr Khazenifar.
I am also involved in managing the practice, ensuring we are compliant with CQC regulations.
I take pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their routine visits and treatments. I have been in the care sector for over 10 years.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking and spending time with family and friends.
SUSAN MALLENDER
Receptionist/ Accountant
I am a dedicated and experienced dental receptionist with a strong background in patient care and practice administration. Having worked in the dental field for many years, I have developed excellent communication and organisational skills, ensuring that every patient receives a warm welcome and a smooth experience from the moment they arrive.
In addition to managing the front desk, I am responsible for handling accounts, appointments, and day-to-day administrative tasks, helping the practice run efficiently and professionally. I take pride in building positive relationships with patients and colleagues, and I am committed to maintaining a friendly, supportive, and well-organised environment.
