Thread Vein Removal – Schlerotherapy

Thread veins are superficial, and in some cases, often very noticeable, purplish red veins found under the surface of the skin, most often on the legs and face. They can be caused by all kinds of things, from sun damage, pregnancy and the menopause in women, to genetic factors or even physical trauma, which can lead to thread veins caused by broken blood vessels. The good news is that, if you have thread veins, it’s very likely that they can be successfully treated using a process called Schlerotherapy.

The treatment is simple and very quick. A special solution is injected into each vein using a very fine needle, and because thread veins are found close to the surface of the skin, the treatment isn’t likely to be painful. The solution we use actually shrinks the thread veins so they’ll be a lot more noticeable and you’ll be able to see results from the very first treatment.
